NESS to hold Moray open day event

THE Moray branch of a sensory services charity is set to hold an open day.

North East Sensory Services (NESS) are inviting the public along to learn more about what they do and how they can help those with sight or hearing difficulties.

Among the services NESS staff will be discussing are: One-to-one rehabilitation and support; The resource centre and daily living aids; The tech room and assistive technology; Local social groups, including CIS and YPSS; Transcription and BSL interpreting, Sensory awareness training; Fundraising.

Pop along for a cuppa, a biscuit and a chat on Wednesday, November 9 from 10am - 2pm at the Elgin Resource Centre, Elizabeth House, Victoria Crescent, Elgin, IV30 1RQ.

Until 2010 NESS was known as the Grampian Society for the Blind and is a leading provider of fully integrated joint sensory services in Scotland.

Currently NESS supports over 6500 people with sensory loss throughout Aberdeen, Moray, Dundee, Angus and Aberdeenshire.
