A date has been set for the inquest of Leah Croucher, Thames Valley Police has said.

Ms Croucher vanished on February 15 2019, and police confirmed in October 2022 that human remains found in the loft of a house in Furzton, Milton Keynes, belonged to the 19-year-old.

The force said it had now “completed its investigation” into her death and a file has been submitted to the coroner.

Ms Croucher’s inquest will take place on June 19-20 at Milton Keynes Coroner’s Court, with a pre-inquest review hearing having already taken place, police said.

In a statement, her family said: “Today went as expected, and we are happy to have a date for Leah’s inquest.

“There is a lot of information yet to be shared to us and our legal representation.

“We are looking forward to seeing that.

“We have nothing further to say at the moment.”
