Moray youth (15) charged with murder of Elgin bus driver appears in court

A 15-year-old has appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court charged with the murder of bus driver Keith Rollinson.

The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, made no plea.

He stands charged with murder, after allegedly attacking Mr Rollinson at Elgin Bus Station on Friday night (February 2).

The 58-year-old later died at Dr Gray's Hospital.

Court papers gave the youth's address as in Moray.

He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.

His case is set to call again in the next eight days, according to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS).
