A MORAY third sector organisation is encouraging groups in the region to join in with Volunteers’ Week celebrations over June 3-9.

tsiMoray will join thousands of charities and voluntary organisations recognising the contribution volunteers make across the UK. As well as a crucial opportunity to thank volunteers and recognise the value of their time, passion and skills, Volunteers’ Week also acts as a chance to inspire others to give volunteering a go.

The organisation, which seeks to local charities, community groups, volunteers, voluntary organisations and social enterprises with a range of strategic partners to build the capacity of local communities, is encouraging third sector groups to get in touch with them if they would like to thank a volunteer or a volunteer team.

They can be contacted at comms@tsimoray.org.uk

This year will see Volunteers’ Week mark its 40th anniversary.
