Moray Council has launched a survey to gather information on the needs and aspirations of local households.

The aim is to better understand the current picture to ensure a range of housing options are delivered in future.

Residents of all ages in all types of housing are encouraged to give their views.

Phone interviews by a professional market research company, Research Resource, started on Monday and will continue for four weeks.

An online survey, which takes about 10 minutes to complete, is also available HERE

Edward Thomas, the council's head of housing and property, said: "We really appreciated residents taking the time to complete this survey to ensure we have a range of voices from the community.

"We always want to make sure our planning is based on evidence of what the community looks like now and that it meets the needs of the future.

"This survey plays a key part in that understanding."

All responses will be treated confidentially and are for research purposes only.
