Moray CAB sessions aim to target poverty and debt

TACKLING poverty and debt are at the heart of advice sessions being run by Moray Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB).

Money Talk Plus is an enhanced service to tackle poverty and support economic recovery, so that people and families can improve household income and reduce debt.

Working together in partnership with other organisations in Moray, Money Talk Plus will also include advice relating to benefits and welfare rights, income maximization, reducing outgoings, as well as debt support.

People can access the service at Face to face at 6 Moss Street, Elgin, IV30 1LU. The centre is open: Mondays and Fridays 9.30am to 12.30pm; Tuesdays 9.30am to 3.30pm and 5pm to 7pm; Wednesdays and Thursdays 9.30am to 3.30pm.

The service is also available by appointment, in Moray CAB's outreach locations of Buckie, Keith, Forres, Dufftown and Tomintoul. To book an appointment, call (01343) 555163.

Moray Citizen's Advice AGM is Wednesday, November 16 at 3.30pm at Elgin Library. All are welcome to attend.
