Interviews are being held for drivers for Moray's on-demand bus service.connect.

Originally known as Dial M, the service is looking for new drivers.

The Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) have booked a series of interviews in both Buckie and Forres.

The first interviews will take place in Forres from 10am onwards on Tuesday, August 29 at the town's Jobcentre Plus.

That Friday the focus will switch to Buckie Jobcentre Plus where interviews will commence from 10am.

To be able to drive the m.connect buses applicants will require a driving licence with the additional D1 driving licence. For those who passed their test prior to January 1, 1997 this is already present on their driving licence. However, those who passed their test after this date will need to apply and sit this additional test.

Anyone interested in booking an interview time and finding out more about these upcoming vacancies, should speak to their work coach or email jcpmoray.employerandpartnershipteam@dwp.gov.uk

Customers of the service can use a new app to book two weeks in advance or up to to one hour before travel. The home booking line can also be used.

The app, which is available to download for free from Apple and Google play stores, allows users to create and manage journeys. Bus ticket features, vehicle tracking and notification options are all part of the app function.
