MORAY Art Centre (MAC) has announced a takeover show curated by north-east artists.

‘Analogous’ - opening on Saturday, February 3 from 5-8pm - is a collective exhibition, celebrating the similarities, differences and connections of work by emerging and re-emerging artists, students and graduates.

The first of the new year at MAC, the show has been organised and curated by Grays School of Art student Kayla Spence and Moray School of Art graduate Olga Dean Hart.

Olga’s work draws from the abstract expressionist movement and avant-garde art.

She said: “The exhibition is a celebration of our shared humanity, while honouring diversity.”

The collaboration allows upcoming artists to work with the team at the centre and gain curation skills.

Kayla’s work depicts dreamscapes inspired by the Highlands.

She said: “Analogous is a show celebrating the experience of creating art.”

The gallery is open from 10am-4pm from Friday to Sunday. The exhibition is running until March 31.
