Man charged with Kiesha Donaghy murder makes second court appearance

THE man alleged to have murdered Kiesha Donaghy (32) has again appeared in court.

Owen Grant (42) was remanded in custody following his appearance at Elgin Sheriff Court today (December 8).

The man is charged with the murder of 32-year-old mum Kiesha, who was found dead in her New Elgin home three weeks ago.

Grant made no plea during his private appearance, which ended in him being fully committed.

Wearing a grey and blue hooded jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers, he was handcuffed to one of two court guards who led him from the court into a waiting van at around 2.55pm.

Grant, whose address was given as Elgin in court papers, first appeared in court in connection with the murder charge on Friday, December 1.

No date has yet been set for the case to call again.
