Established in 1996, Mabbett & Associates provides planning, design, environmental, engineering and safety services to its clients.

Kenny Shand, a senior planning consultant at the company's Inverness office, said: "Our expansion into Moray will allow us to better serve existing and new clients in key sectors.

"Our presence in Speyside also better positions us to service our growing roster of clients in the distilling sector while there are exciting opportunities for us in the region’s space sector, too."

The move by Mabbett's to Forres also comes in the wake of the company recently buying GH Johnston Building Consultants Ltd as well as the assets of Nevis Environmental Ltd, which are both based in Inverness.

Willie Park is the building and business development manager at Key Facilities Management, which oversees the Horizon Scotland building.

He said: "We are delighted to welcome Mabbett as tenants. We very much hope they enjoy the flexible meeting and conferencing spaces within the building and the wider facilities elsewhere on the Forres Enterprise Park.

"We look forward to supporting their further growth in the region."
