Moray MSP kicks off summer surgery tour in Forres

MORAY MSP Richard Lochhead kicked off his summer surgery tour on Friday, July 15 last week.
Mr Lochhead met constituents in Kinloss, Findhorn, Forres, Dyke, Edinkillie, Rafford and Dallas.
The MSP is due to hold further surgeries in around 30 communities in Moray over the course of the summer having had previous surgery tours disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mr Lochhead said: "Like many other summer events, my annual surgery tour was disrupted over the last couple of years due to covid and the restrictions that were in place.
“I’m delighted that my summer surgery tour is back and has now kicked off, with the first leg in the Forres area now complete.
“Summer surgeries allow me the opportunity to hold surgeries in smaller communities and to make myself as accessible as possible to folk in every corner of Moray.
“I’m grateful to the village halls, community centres, and sports clubs that allow me to use their facilities and of course to those who come to see me to raise issues and concerns.
“I have another four full days of appointments available and all constituents are of course welcome. If anyone would like to make an appointment to see me during my surgery tour they should feel free to get in touch with my office.”
