Police suspected Kathryn Waller had drugs in her possession when they stopped her for a search.

The officers subsequently discovered two wraps of heroin weighing a total of 2.4grams with a street value of £120.

Waller appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday, where she admitted possessing the class A narcotic in Falcon Square on December 20, 2020.

Defence solicitor Graham Mann said his 50-year-old client had been drinking in the city when an opportunity arose to buy the drugs.

Waller, of North Street, Kinloss, was fined £210 by Sheriff Eric Brown.
