Police Scotland have issued a brief update regarding the death at the weekend of a 28-year-old man in Kinloss.

A spokesperson for the force said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious."

The man's body was found on Sunday morning within the grounds of Kinloss Barracks close to the perimeter fence which borders the B9011 road between Findhorn and Kinloss.

He has not been named publicly.

A post mortem will take place in due course.
