JOB Centre Plus is set to host a jobsfair on social media platform Twitter, aimed at helping young people find employment.

The Centre's Kickstart scheme is entering its final months and they are looking to maximise the number of young people taking up available vacancies across the north of Scotland.

There are currently more than 400 vacancies available in the area. With the support of local and national employers, Kickstart has already seen 600 job starts in the north of Scotland alone.

Everyone between the ages of 18 and 24 who is in receipt of Universal Credit is urged to take part in the jobsfair, which will take place on Twitter (@JCPinNorthScot) between 2pm and 4pm on Thursday, February 10.

The jobsfair will help youngsters take advantage of the paid employer placement incentives and will will highlight a range of vacancies from every sector.

You don’t have to be registered for Twitter to take part in the event, you can search for @JCPinNorthScot online to watch it take place.

If you are eligible for Kickstart, or know someone who is, then please check out the opportunities on Find A Job on Gov.uk or speak to your work coach.
