THERE'S a three-legged cat looking to find a loving family to call his own.

Jack may only have three legs but he's full of life.
Jack may only have three legs but he's full of life.

Jack is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

This handsome boy was initially very nervous when he arrived at the centre and preferred to hide away. However, with time and lots of love, Jack has grown a lot in confidence and is not afraid to tell you when it’s dinner time! Once he gets to know you he does like getting stroked and will start purring to show his appreciation. His new owner will need to have the time and patience to help bring Jack out of his shell even more.

Due to an injury, Jack has three legs but this does not stop him and he loves playing with his toys and jumping on top of his cat fort.

As Jack can still be a little unsure, his new family must be prepared to give him plenty of time to settle. Jack would benefit from a quiet adult-only home in a rural area so he can explore the great outdoors should he wish to.

If you can give Jack his new home, please apply via the Scottish SCPA website https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/9021-jack
