Health fund grant cash up for grabs for Moray community groups

MORAY community groups working to improve health and wellbeing could benefit from a cash grant of up to £1500.

Moray Health Improvement Team is offering funding support of between £500 and £1500 which can be used for a variety of purposes, including day to day or running costs through the Third Sector Support Fund (Moray).

The funding criteria is broad with partnership working encouraged, as is the involvement of local people. Projects which are Moray-wide are welcomed.

Among the categories of projects covered by the fund are addressing health inequalities – such as prioritising work with those living in economic disadvantage – seeking to alleviate child poverty and improving health and wellbeing in communities across Moray.

The fund can be used to support existing constituted community groups or third sector organisations as well as existing or new activities or projects.
