BBC Alba’s flagship comedy series OMC! has returned for a second season.
Produced by The Comedy Unit – the production team behind the likes of Scottish favourites Still Game and Chewin’ the Fat – OMC! enjoyed a successful run of four episodes when it debuted on BBC Alba last year.
The Gaelic sketch is now back for a second run of comedy capers, with the first two episodes having already aired and available on BBC iPlayer.
OMC! is written by and stars the very best in emerging and established comic talent, featuring Iain Beggs, Darren Maclean, Carina Macleod, Claire Frances MacNeil, Hannah McKirdy, Lana Pheutan and David Walker.
Featuring a collection of comic characters and spoofs, OMC! is the perfect way to start the new year with a smile and a chuckle.
Episode one saw queue-skipping at the doctors and unexpected puppy love, while ceilidh dancing was turned into a contact sport, a troublesome mermaid shows just why she’s a catch and we see the latest content from the hottest new influencer Gael Gal.
In episode two, the hilarity continued with warring acquaintances and a citizenship test that asks all the key questions. Also featured was a visit from an angel and a glimpse into the future via a gifted cut-price fortune teller.
The new series of OMC! features hilarious sketches such as the clown love triangle.
