A FIVE star Edinburgh Fringe play, Miss Lindsay's Secret will visit Findhorn as part of its UK tour.
The show is written and performed by Maria MacDonell and is based on a series of real letters from a 1900's transatlantic love affair.
In the 12 years before World War I, Highland seamstress Miss Willamina Lindsay received letters from a young man who had left his Highland home of Glenesk to seek his fortune in the Canadian goldrush.
The letters were found hidden in a sewing box at the Glenesk Folk Museum during its renovation nearly a century later. The letters form the heart of the show which mixes storytelling and live music to provide a fascinating snapshot into working class glen lives.
The show will make stops in Moray and Grampian during it's tour, with performances at Portgordon Village Hall on 29 September, Findhorn Bay Arts Festival on 30 September, Crathes Village Hall on 9 October, and Aberdeen's Lemon Tree on 10 Nov.
