A FORRES woman is set to take part in Macmillan Cancer Support's Brave The Shave to raise funds for the charity.

Clare Taylor, who stays in Forbeshill, is set to cut her hair to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan.

She's almost at the £100 mark – but with just a few days left before the shave she is hoping to get a bit more cash in the kitty.

She said: "I've had long hair for my whole life so I thought this would generate some interest.

"I've been sharing the fundraiser on Facebook and Instagram but most of my family stay in Birmingham so I wanted some interest locally.

"Macmillan are a great charity to support. Cancer tears families apart and their support is amazing.

"You never know when your own family might need that support."

Mum-of-one Clare will brave the shave on Saturday, April 16 at 10am, with all wishing to support her welcome to visit at 22 Forbeshill.
