A FINDHORN sacred dance teacher who has hosted online sessions throughout the pandemic has shared his passion with the world as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Online.
Brant Bambery launched monthly online sacred dance events, entitled "The Centrepiece", 23 months ago as a response to the Covid-19 situation.
Between 150 to 250 people regularly tune in to take part in circle, traditional and choreographed dances from around the globe.
Brant said: "It is such a fun event and so nice to have wonderful presenters, which also includes poets and musicians from all traditions.
"Our mix of dance teachers range from Scotland to Brazil and more.
"It has been quite a journey bringing this free event to the world, meeting many new teachers and sharing our passion for dance in a way we did not expect."
A hybrid online Findhorn Sacred Dance Festival was held recently at Universal Hall.
Sacred dance was started at the Findhorn Community by Bernhard Wosien, a ballet master from Germany, as a way for people in the spiritual community to dance together and grow together in a holistic way.
Brant added: "To our amazement, The Centrepiece has been so successful. Online dancing works and has been a much-needed tool to keep the movement going."
The free events are held via Zoom and the next "The Centrepiece" will run on September 25, at 7.30pm. For more information visit the website or Youtube Channel here.
