Family of missing Nairn man informed after body found near Grantown

Appeal: Patrick Mills went missing yesterday. But as yet there was been no formal identification of the body found this afternoon, police say.

Police have issued an update following an earlier appeal over a missing man yesterday.

Patrick Mills went missing from the Nairn area on Tuesday.

A statement issued this evening confirmed: "Around 3pm on Tuesday, February 6, the body of a man was found in the Lochindorb area.

"Formal identification is yet to take place but the family of missing man Patrick Mills has been informed.

"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
