A family puppet show is being staged at the Universal Hall in Findhorn the weekend after next.

The Elves and the Shoemaker, aimed at audiences aged four and upwards, is an old Brothers Grimm fairytale.

It tells the story of a poor shoemaker who doesn't have enough money either to pay his rent or to buy the leather needed to make more than one pair of shoes.

However, help is at hand.

Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre Company will be performing at the Moray venue on Saturday, April 1 from 2pm-3pm.

Tickets from the Phoenix store in Findhorn eco-village or online via universalhall.co.uk/upcoming-events
