ARCHIE is on the lookout for a new forever home.

Ex-stray Archie would love to find a home to call his own.
Ex-stray Archie would love to find a home to call his own.

He is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

When Archie first arrived, he had a few war wounds from his time as a stray. Since then, he has been enjoying curling up on his big comfy blanket.

Sometimes he will greet you with a hiss but he soon realises getting stroked isn’t so bad and will head bump you and purr for more.

Food is definitely the way to Archie’s heart! He is first in the queue at meal times and always clears his bowl. He is on a special diet to help keep his joints in good condition.

Archie is very independent and would like a family who will let him come to them in his own time and do as he pleases. A family with older children or an adult only home would suit him best.

Outdoor access is a must for Archie, preferably with a cat flap so he can come and go whenever he wants to after he has settled into his new home.

If you can give Archie his new home, please apply via the Scottish SCPA website https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/9020-archie
