Drop-in seeks to help military personnel into civilian world of work

TAKING the big step into the civilian workplace after a career in the military is set to take centre stage a forthcoming event.

A drop-in session on transitioning to working in the civilian sector is due to be held.

Moray Pathways are running a marketplace providing support and information about training and next steps into work for ex-service personnel and their families. It is also open to people who are currently serving in the military.

The drop-in session is due to take place on Friday, June 23 at The Large Inkwell, Moray Pathways Hub, Francis Place, Elgin, IV30 1LQ. It is scheduled to run between 11.30am and 1pm.

Moray Pathways is a single point of contact for individuals, businesses and organisations who are either looking for, or have opportunities in learning, training and work.

The organisation brings together public sector and education providers, as well as business organisations and third sector groups.
