Driver (19) charged in connection with Forres car crash

POLICE are appealing for information following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Forres.

The crash happened on Nairn Road around 11.50am on Sunday (November 26).

The pedestrian was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital for treatment and the 19-year-old driver of the car was charged in connection, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Police are asking anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.

Constable Anna Steventon said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are asking anyone who may have information which could assist officers to get in touch.

“We would also ask anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the incident to come forward.”
