Disruption on Inverness to Aberdeen train line due to fallen tree

Train passengers travelling between Inverness and Aberdeen face disruption this morning after a fallen tree on the line near Huntly.

Scotrail have said that work has been completed to remove the debris but some services have been cancelled including the 10:31 Inverurie to Aberdeen, 11.09 Aberdeen to Inverurie and the 11.59 Inverurie to Montrose.

There are also knock on effects on services to Edinburgh from Aberdeen and passengers are advised to check the latest service updates from Scotrail.
