Council asks: What do you think about Forres' town centre, and others in Moray?
MORAY Council has asked locals for their opinions on the area's town centres, including Forres, to guide future spending.
The public has been asked to share their views to help create "as clear a picture as possible" of the current state of Moray towns.
Separate surveys are available for seven town centres: Aberlour, Keith, Buckie, Dufftown, Forres, Elgin, and Lossiemouth.
Together, the questionnaires form the Town Centre Perception Survey, which will help direct cash from Moray's town regeneration efforts.
The survey, found here on Moray Council’s website, closes on December 24, 2023.
A drop down menu offers a separate survey for the seven town centres, which are set to be undertaken each year for the next three years.
Chair of the Economic, Development and Infrastructure Services Committee, Cllr Marc Macrae, is encouraging residents to take a minute to fill it out.
“I welcome the Town Centre Perception Survey and look forward to the results," he said.
"Our town centres mean a lot to the people of Moray and I’m hoping as many folk as possible will fill it out.
"They’ll be ensuring we’ve as clear a picture as possible when we’re moving forward with ideas to regenerate our town centres.
"They’ll be helping to steer council spend.”
