September 2024's Logie Timber Festival on the Logie Estate will celebrate nature and sustainability with live entertainment, interactive activities, and workshops

LOG September 7-8 for the return of a family-friendly fun event in 2024.

The Logie Timber Festival, a celebration of nature and sustainability, is making a comeback to the Logie Estate following a five year absence,building on the success of the 2019 event which attracted 5000 attendees.

Mark Councill founded the organisers, Logie Timber.

He said: “We’re excited to be celebrating our local environment and the part we all play in preserving it for generations to come.

“We will be placing a special emphasis on local sustainability, and the importance of preserving our environment and its woodlands.

“The Logie Timber Festival offers a unique opportunity for all ages to learn, appreciate and contribute to a greener future.”

The festival – co-organised with the Logie Estate – is a weekend of live entertainment, interactive activities, and workshops suitable for all ages. Visitors will be able to engage with a diverse array of local businesses, exhibitors, sellers and craftspeople passionate about their work and place in the natural environment. With unique products, delicious local delicacies, and hands-on demonstrations, the festival is a showcase of the Highlands.

Mr Councill said: "This is an opportunity to engage with Logie Timber and to find out about what we do, also to get to know local businesses, makers, artists and producers. It is a celebration of all the incredible people that make our region so special.”

Logie Timber is keen to hear from local businesses, stallholders, activity providers and craftspeople who wish to be involved, as well as those who may wish to sponsor the event.

Businesses are encouraged to bring festival attendees into their world.
