Cascada to return to Elgin for MacMoray Summer Festival in August 2024

ONE of this year's most popular MacMoray Festival acts is set to return in 2024.
Europop sensation Cascada, who performed at this year's MacMoray Easter Festival, will return for 2024's summer event in August.
Cascada will perform on day two of the weekend-long event – which is Sunday, August 11.
Aqua, Status Quo, The Jacksons and Bonnie Tyler are already on the bill for the festival, for which 15,000 tickets per day are on sale.
Organiser Andy Macdonald was thrilled to get Cascada back after her much-loved set earlier this year.
"We are delighted to be bringing back the Queen of MacMoray, Cascada," he said. "She was voted the best pop act at MacMoray 23.
"I wanted her for the Easter event but she wasn't available so we have her on August 11."
Cascada began in Germany in 2004 and are fronted by Natalie Horler. They have had five UK top 10 singles and one number one, with the instantly-recognisable 2009 song Evacuate The Dancefloor.
The song was so popular that it knocked Michael Jackson off the top of the charts in the weeks after his death.
Cascada, who won the World Music Award in 2007 and have topped the charts in 20 countries worldwide, also includes producers and writers Yann Peifer (Yanou) and Manuel Reuter (Manian).
In 2013, the group performed for Germany at the grand final of Eurovision.
Andy MacDonald added: "Cascada knows how to bring a ridiculously energetic party vibe. She's unbelievable live."
The next act for MacMoray Summer Festival will be announced on Friday, December 22. This will be the last announcement until May, when the remaining acts will be confirmed.
Tickets are now on sale and a special discount launch price of £45 for an adult day ticket and £75 for a weekend ticket remains in place until Christmas Day. Phone 01309 679613 for enquiries.
A new monthly payment plan has been added by the festival's organisers. This will allow people to pay monthly for tickets, with deposits as low as a couple of pound.
People who are struggling financially can ring the number and secure themselves a ticket for £10.
