Two authors will be speaking at an event in Moray which addresses the controversial topic of actively choosing to die.

Both Jane Duncan Rogers and Phyllis Shacter wrote books in the aftermath of watching the deaths of loved ones.

In Phyllis' case, her husband took the decision to stop eating and drinking after he was diagnosed with dementia.

A spokesperson for the Universal Hall in Findhorn said: "The talk will be about the pros and cons of preparing well for a 'good end' of life, and will also look at the legalities and practicalities of what you may or may not choose.

"This promises to be a deeply meaningful and thought-provoking evening. So come prepared with questions."
