The maritime search and rescue charity has a network of local fundraising teams organising a wide range of activities and events, from coffee mornings to reindeer runs, emptying collection boxes to running an online fundraiser, raising vital funds to save lives at sea.

Each team is supported by a community manager, although the range and frequency of fundraising events is determined by the teams themselves.

The RNLI are looking for new people with new ideas and skills to help raise vital funds.

The retail co-ordinator role includes creating displays of souvenirs and gifts for sale at local events, ordering stock and completing relevant financial records, recording and banking of sales income and completion of annual stocktake, encouraging and welcoming a diverse group of new members and supporters into the RNLI while helping to drive the charity's crew ethos.

The volunteer will be joining an inclusive and diverse organisation, will have fun, meet new people and join a motivated and enthusiastic team who are making a difference.

It will also be an opportunity learn new skills and gain experience. Access to a vehicle for stock transportation is required and the minimum age for applications is 18.
