To mark the BBC’s centenary year in 2022, it is visiting 400,000 secondary school students with the aim of inspiring the next generation.

The Forres Gazette photographer, who works across a range of Highland News and Media's digital and print platforms, told the students how he got involved in photography and then the news industry.

BBC presenter Robyn Richford fronted three sessions at the school for more than 300 children aged 12-16.

Daniel was joined by Toni-Lee Duffus from Spey PR and Nicole Murray from BBC Alba.

Some of Daniel's photographs were shared during the presentation and each session concluded with open questions from the floor.
