The band will perform at Forres' Eagle Bar on Saturday, July 2 with all profits from the gig going directly to the children's charity.

Speak Easy Circus are a five piece funk and indie band from Glasgow. The band have built a strong following in the city with performances at iconic venues like King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and the O2 Academy.

Speak Easy Circus frontman, Jack Avison said: "This summer we have partnered up with Barnardo's to go on a non-profit tour around the Highlands, playing shows and raising money for charity - so far we have raised over £1000!

"After long periods of lockdown and many cancelled shows, we decided to break free of Glasgow this summer and set ourselves a challenge of travelling around Scotland, playing shows in some of the most remote parts of the country and exploring places we have never visited or played before - all while raising money for an amazing cause!

"We will be playing at The Eagle Bar in Forres on the July 4, which we are really looking forward to as we have never played in Forres before!

"All money raised will go directly to Barnardo’s Scotland Highland Services, in what will be their biggest ever fundraising project, and will go to supporting Community opportunities in the Highland area, for children and young people."

The band will tour the Highlands and Islands from June 27 to July 9 with a performance at the Eagle bar in Forres on Saturday, July 2.

Tickets are between £8 and £10 on the door with all profits from the show donated to Barnardo’s.
