Highland rockers Bad Actress release flaming hot new single She's Got Fire

A LOCAL rock band who recently played the main stage at an international festival have released a new single.
Last weekend, Bad Actress - singer Vinnie Vexx (22), bassist 80-R (24), bass guitarist Tommy B (25), guitarist Chick McFarlane (20) and drummer Lui Q (18) - were on the bill at Bonfest in Kirriemuir, celebrating the life of former AC/DC singer, Bon Scott.
New release 'She’s Got Fire' out today (Friday, May 6) is the result of a writing collaboration with Mark Allison, organiser of Inverness rock festival, Monsterfest.
A spokesman confirmed: "It's is all about the relationship between love and money. Mark also produced the video for the song, which was shot in Inverness’s Tooth and Claw venue."
The track’s release is the latest milestone in a busy year for Bad Actress, founded by and featuring the McFarlane brothers from Forres.
They've been touring the UK supporting former Dead Daisies member Marco Medoza, also known for his work with Journey, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy and Ted Nugent.
And this weekend they play a headline show at Bannerman’s in Edinburgh, before embarking on festivals and support dates in England and Wales over the summer and autumn, with a Glasgow headline show in July.
The band will be back in Inverness in October for Monsterfest 2022, which takes place at Eden Court.
Vinnie Vexx confirmed the band have been writing and recording too.
He said: "It was great working on She’s Got Fire. It’s got a real dirty groove and riddled with catchy riffs and a chorus that’ll stick in your head.
"We’ve played the song at all our live shows this year and it’s gone down really well so it’s great to get it released and we hope more people enjoy it."
