Ayetanic ahoy as student show set to take to the stage in the Granite City

STUDENT show Ayetanic is among the attractions coming to the stage in Aberdeen over the course of the coming week.

First up, running from Tuesday through to Saturday, is A Play, A Pie and A Pint: Storytelling. Two people are trying to tell the story of Robert, who isn’t sure who is in charge of his own narrative and whether he even wants to be in the story of his life anymore.

Storytelling is a new comedy-drama about being able to overcome our lowest moments in life by telling stories, and how they might possibly save us all. Co-presented with Aberdeen Performing Arts and Ayr Gaiety.

The show is being hosted by the Lemon Tree, with performances at 1pm and 6pm. Tickets cost £12.50 and are available from www.aberdeenperformingarts.com, phone (01224) 641122 or visit the box office at His Majesty’s Theatre or the Music Hall.

It's student show ahoy on Wednesday through to Saturday in the shape of Ayetanic at His Majesty's Theatre. Poetry is in the air on Saturday when the Loud Poets Performance comes to the Big Sky Studio at the Music Hall.

Join Dr Katie Ailes and Kevin MacLean of I Am Loud Productions as they present an evening of brand new poetry. The line-up includes participants from our Loud Poets Master Classes on April 8-9 and as always promises to be a night of tears, laughter and bold new voices.
