Apprenticeship marketplace to showcase Moray opportunities

THE opportunities available through apprenticeships in Moray are to take centre at a marketplace event next Thursday.

Organised by Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Moray the event is being hosted by UHI Moray in Elgin.

For those interested in going down the apprenticeship route, the marketplace will be an opportunity to meet and chat with employers, apprentices and training providers about the different apprenticeship types and opportunities available in Moray.

The event will host talks including an overview of Foundation and Modern Apprenticeships by UHI Moray; an overview of Graduate Apprenticeships by Robert Gordon University, and how to find and apply for apprenticeships by Skills Development Scotland.

The marketplace event is due to get under way at 4.30pm on Thursday, March 9, running until 7pm.

The same afternoon, also at UHI Moray, DYW Moray are running an event aimed at employers where firms can discover how apprenticeships can grow their business.
