Amey will undertake electrical work on the A96 at Alves to complete the installation of signage at the school.

The speed limit will operate part-time, during periods when pupils are going to and from school.

The work will take place from Monday, July 31 to Wednesday, August 2 between 8am-5pm each day.

Lane closures will be in operation in the area along with temporary traffic signals.

Amey is doing the work on behalf of Transport Scotland.

The work will also act as preparation for an extension of the existing 40mph speed limit through the village.
