MCDONALD Eleanor and the family of the late Stewart McDonald would like to thank all of his friends, relatives and neighbours for the many cards, letters and emails sharing their condolences and memories. We would like also to thank Wild Blossom Florist and Steven Thomson Funeral Directors for making it such a fitting tribute to a man of quick wit and a wicked sense of humour. Ellie would particularly like to express her gratitude to the Police and Ambulance crews who attended her home in the early hours of 2nd September. She could not have been better looked-after, and they showed real care, kindness and respect at a difficult time for all concerned. We are also grateful to Finlay and Mandy at the Crown and Anchor for the catering, which was excellent and much appreciated by all who joined to celebrate his many escapades and a life well-lived.
