ROTHES hope to be celebrating in front of the barren Kynoch Park terraces when they take on Buckie Thistle in an all-Moray cup final.

The Speysiders won 2-1 at Formartine United on Saturday after extra time in a semi-final played behind closed doors and streamed live via pay-per-view to fans at home - see SHFL TV highlights above.

Ali Sutherland's late strike and a tidy Craig Cormack finish at the start of extra time won the day for the Mackessack Park men, after Dan Park put the home side in front.

With Buckie beating Brora Rangers on penalties in the other semi on Sunday, the stage is set for a closely-fought battle between the two Moray clubs in Saturday's final at Keith.

Rothes are bidding to win the competition for the first time, and have only been in the final once before when they lost to Forres Mechanics a decade ago.

Supporters of both clubs will again be able to subscribe to watch the big game on Saturday, with details available this week on the Highland League website.
