Highland League clubs and Elgin City are among 24 sides back in Scottish Cup action on Tuesday, March 23.
Following yesterday’s announcement that SPFL League One and Two matches are set to resume, the national cup competition springs back into play.
Twelve second round ties are outstanding, including Buckie Thistle's lucrative home clash with Caley Thistle where the winners take on Ross County.
Huntly are bidding to set up a home date with Aberdeen if they can win their tie away to League 1 Dumbarton.
And there remains a chance of an all-Moray third round tie if Elgin City can overcome Ayr United and Keith are able to see off League 1 Clyde, as the winners from these two ties meet in the next round.
Fraserburgh are already through to the third round, having contested the only second round tie to beat the weather in January.
The Buchan men edged out Banks o' Dee and could play an all-Highland League tie if Nairn County can defeat Montrose.
A date has also been confirmed for third round matches, which will take place on Saturday, April 3.
All clubs taking part in Scottish Cup ties must comply with Covid testing at their own expense.
However, it is understood that clubs unwilling to pay this cost have an option to forfeit their tie and still receive a percentage of appearance money for reaching this stage of the competition.
The competition will see the introduction of concussion substitutes on a trial basis, following approval by the Scottish FA Board and confirmation by the International Football Association Board [IFAB].
In the event of an actual or suspected concussion, clubs will be allowed to use a maximum of two concussions replacements, regardless of the number of substitutions already made. The opposition will be permitted to make another change at the time a concussion substitution is made.
Ian Maxwell, Scottish FA Chief Executive said: “The Scottish Cup is our flagship competition and we are pleased that the temporary suspension of the lower leagues has now been lifted to allow the matches to resume.
“With the green shoots of hope emerging with the continuing successful rollout of the vaccination programme and the announcement of restrictions easing in the future, the news that the Scottish Cup Final will be played in May at Hampden Park will hopefully come as a further boost to Scottish football fans this week.
“The remaining rounds will be played in quick succession and with the fixtures coming thick and fast as the domestic season comes to a conclusion, the showpiece Scottish Cup Final will once again provide an exciting finale for the Scottish football season.”
