Scottish Gas Scottish Cup draw throws up three all-Highland League ties while Buckie Thistle draw Carluke Rovers and Forres Mechanics host Jeanfield Swifts
Three all-Highland League ties emerged from Sunday’s Scottish Gas Scottish Cup first round draw.
Rothes came out in one of those ties as they make the trip to Fraserburgh on the weekend of September 28.
Clachnacuddin take on Nairn County in a Highland derby, while Huntly are at home to Wick Academy.
Forres Mechanics landed a home draw against Jeanfield Swifts, the Perth side who thrashed Elgin City 6-0 in last season’s competition.
Buckie Thistle’s hopes of a similar run to the one which took them to Celtic Park last term are put to the test by West of Scotland League visitors Carluke Rovers, who won 2-0 at Golspie in the preliminary round.
Lossiemouth head to Linlithgow Rose and Keith host Camelon Juniors, while Deveronvale are at home to Bo’ness United who were runners-up in last season’s Lowland League.
