Elgin Cycling Club have played host to their second open time trial event of the year.
The event was staged on the road around Orton, near Elgin and drew a competitivbe entry of 34 riders.
Each rider raced the ten mile course against the clock – or against themselves and their previous times on this and other TT courses.
A club spokesperson said: "Riders were set off at one minute intervals, with the goal on the road being to ‘catch’ up with their ‘minute man’ – the rider ahead, and to avoid being ‘caught’ by the rider behind."
The event was organised by Diane Maciver who presented all of the prizes and thanked club members for their support to help make the event a successful one.
"This event wouldn’t have happened without the voluntary support of the organisers, timekeepers, marshals, bakers, tea servers, and riders who entered along with guest riders from all over Scotland," she said.
The winners on the day included 12-year-old rising Forres Cycling Club star Ava Luce who continued her successful run of results by landing first place in the famale handicap section and also claimed the road bike female prize.
