North of Scotland Cup draw pairs holders Brora rangers and previous winners Nairn County while Forres Mechanics and Rothes to meet in rematch of 8-0 derby last term





The last two winners of the competition will meet in the first round.

Next season’s North of Scotland Cup draw has been revealed.

Holders Brora Rangers, who beat Clachnacuddin 6-1 in last year’s final have landed a first round tie away to Nairn County, the 2023-24 champions.

Lossiemouth visit Caley Thistle in the other first round match with the winners at home to Strathspey Thistle in the quarter-finals.

There’s a second round rematch between Forres Mechanics and Rothes in round one.

The Moray pair met in a Moray derby last term with Forres winning 8-0, and again the sides meet at Mosset Park.

No clubs from the North Caledonian League are taking part.

North of Scotland Cup draw

First Round (August 6):

Caley Thistle v Lossiemouth

Nairn County v Brora Rangers

Second Round (August 20):

Clachnacuddin v Nairn or Brora

Forres Mechanics v Rothes

Caley Thistle or Lossiemouth v Strathspey Thistle

Ross County v Wick Academy
