There was no match for the senior team on Saturday as Ross County could not get a team together and called off on Thursday. Despite this, results from elsewhere leave the saints sitting at the top of the league table as they go into a series of important matches.

The reserves travelled to Strathpeffer for their match on Sunday where they played a strong eleven. Batting first they put on 199 for 6. Tony Farr opened up with 23, Kiran Shris moved things along with 42. Dan Harris, playing his last game for the club before heading south to further his RAF career, chipped in with 29 and Al Farr took control with 73.

The Forres reply struck in the second over with Charlotte Farr removing the opener Alan Amour and followed that up with another two wickets, taking 3 for 17. Matty Cole claimed another two for 14 along with Harris 2 for 17. Ross County were all out for 108. A good day for the reserve side.

This weekend the senior side are at home to Highland whilst on Sunday the T20 finals get underway at Cooper Park, Elgin, with the reserves in a T20 playoff in Nairn.
