Jags host Rothie Rovers at Logie Park tomorrow with the winners claiming the Division 2 title.

Forres have to win with a draw favouring the visitors, while both sides have already gained promotion to Division 1 next term.

The Logie Parkers took on Whitehills in their latest Elginshire Cup group stages tie in midweek and recorded a 2-0 victory.

Neil Moir was denied by a good save from Whitehills keeper Jamie Williamson early on but the deadlock was broken by a firm Gregor ewan strike from the corner of the box to edge Jags in front on 19 minutes.

Home keeper Dan Mcleod saved from Brodie Christie at the other end while Matty Henderson and Ross Fiske both came close to an equaliser.

Ten minutes after half time, Thistle's Brandon Hutcheson hit a post and Charlie Beck slotted the rebound wide.

Beck also hit the bar on the hour but a second goal arrived on 78 minutes, Matty Fraser and Mattie Davidson combining to tee up sub Sean McIntosh who took a touch and fired home.
