Inverness Caledonian Thistle sign midfielder from Highland League Club Forres Mechanics - Previously played in Canada and United States





/Inverness Caledonian Thistle have signed midfielder Jordan Alonge from Highland League club Forres Mechanics.

It has been confirmed that the 26-year-old Englishman has signed on a one-year-deal from Mosset Park subject to SFA clearance.

Alonge spent two years at Baker University in Kansas City and three more at Fairleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey.

He then played in Canada for Thunder Bay Chill in the USL League 2 before moving to Scotland to play for Rothes and Forres Mechanics in the Highland League.

He was named the Forres Mechanics Player of the Year last season and scored 14 goals.

He is the latest signing to arrive at Inverness Caledonian Thistle this season which include goalkeepers Ross Munro and Logan Ross along with full back Ross Millen midfielder Joe Chalmers. and attacker David Wotherspoon.

Speaking about signing for the club, Alonge said: “I’m very happy to get the deal done. I’m really excited to get things going and get to know the players and the staff at the club. I’m ready for the pre-season ahead
