Two Highland League matches including Forres Mechanics game called off four days in advance as spread of Omicron variant continues to hit football hard

Forres Mechanics' game at home to Brora Rangers on Saturday was called off on Tuesday morning due to Covid issues in both camps.

Forres have reported six positive cases in their squad with others self-isolating, meaning they have been unable to train this week.

Fort William's match against Nairn County at Station Park has also been called off, with many other clubs closely monitoring the situation with daily testing.
