TWO Forres Mechanics players have committed their immediate future to the club by penning two-year contract extensions.

Ruari Fraser (21) and Owen Paterson (23), both from Forres, have signed deals that will keep them at the club until the summer of 2024.

Both players played for Ross County in their youth, but have become integral parts of manager Steven MacDonald's squad and plans for next season.

Fraser has been a regular at centre-back, with Paterson playing on both sides of defence and in the centre of midfield.

The duo join captain Martin Groat, Tom Brady, Callum Johnston, Cameron Hoath and Shaun Morrison in signing new deals with the club.
