MUNDOLE Equestrian centre has been enjoying great success with competitions held within Covid-19 regulations.

Another competitive weekend at Mundole Equestrian.

Last weekend was blessed with sunshine for the Moray Riding Club dressage event on Saturday and the Mundole Equestrian show jumping on Sunday.

"The great thing about equine events is that no one wishes to do anything but be socially distanced," said a club spokesperson.

"The layout at Mundole lends itself to Covid-safe conditions with well-segregated collecting rings and a traffic light system to allow riders to approach the arena in a well-distanced manner.

"On completing their discipline, riders exit the arena straight into the box park and have plenty of room to put their horse back to their transport or get ready for their next round or test."

There was a good start to the show jumping for Fornighty youngster Tamsin Sutherland, who took first place in both of the first classes.

Florence Lindsay from Gollanfield was first and second in the 0.45 with her two rides Jasper and Morris.

Nairn rider Rachel Forbes with Spirit had and excellent double clear and a good time to win the 0.90.

Roseisle rider Naidene Urquhart with Bunny was only a second ahead in the 1m class of runner up Neve Smith on Finnerty.
