Forres Harriers young star Anna MacFadyan’s running career reached new heights recently when she took part in the World Mountain Running-

International Youth Cup in Jaske Lazne, Czech Republic.

Anna (17), did her country proud, producing a fine run to finish in 7th place.

Not only did she lead her team home, she was the second GB athlete to finish.

The Scottish team finished a creditable 7th from 16 nations.

Ana’s team mates Mairi Wallace and Grace Whelan finished 22nd and 27th respectively.
